Friends of Baucau have strategic partnerships with groups and organisations that assist us in our development initiatives in Baucau, Timor-Leste. We share a common understanding with our partners to raise awareness and maintain support for community development in Baucau.
City of Darebin
The City of Darebin jointly founded the Friends of Baucau and provided support for the project over a 10 year period. City of Darebin, together with the City of Yarra is funding the Friends of Baucau Inc between 2011–2012. City of Yarra and City of Darebin were signatories to the Friendship Agreement with the District of Baucau in 2001.

Australian Volunteers International
Australian Volunteers International (AVI) has a Memorandum of Understanding with Friends of Baucau to work together to raise funds and develop awareness about Timor-Leste. Through this partnership AVI provides an Australian Volunteer based in Baucau, Timor-Leste.
Coffee Mio
Coffee Mio is a valued partner of Friends of Baucau. Coffee Mio assist Friends of Baucau initiatives by producing, packaging and selling Timor-Leste coffee beans with fifty per cent of the profit going to the people of Baucau.
RMIT University
RMIT University has a Memorandum of Understanding with Friends of Baucau and the Cities of Yarra and Darebin to support the people of Baucau through community-to-community links.
