Friends of Baucau attempts to support the wishes and priorities of the people of Buacau, though our relationship with the District Administration in Baucau. Therefore our activities and fundraising is all directed towards this relationship.

Friends of Baucau and the District Administration reviewed our activities in Baucau in April 2011. Following the review and at the request of the District Administartion we decided to focus our attention on the sub-district of Baucau. What is really exciting is that in August 2011 a Friendship Commission was formed in Baucau from a meeting of the elected Village Councilsin the sub-district of Baucau. We are now in a position to move into the next phase of our relationship and we need the support of the communities of Yarra and Darebin.
